Blaine Police Reports Week of Jan. 4-10

Theft, Burglary

• On Jan. 4 at 11:56 a.m. in the 10000 block of Austin St. N.E. it was reported that somebody broke a passenger side window of a vehicle and stole a laptop and engine fault code module.

• On Jan. 4 at 12:43 p.m. in the 550 block of 87th Lane N.E. it was reported that an estranged husband took money from his wife’s checking account and forged a check.

• On Jan. 4 at 2:16 p.m. in the 10900 block of President Drive N.E. a burglary of a residence was reported.

• On Jan. 4 at 2:30 p.m. in the 1430 block of 93rd Lane N.E. a woman reported that her son forged and cashed five checks from her checking account.

• On Jan. 7 at 11:57 a.m. in the 1500 block of 111th Drive N.E. a man reported that he has been dealing with identity theft fraud for years and that he recently received a letter from a collection agency demanding payment.

• On Jan. 7 at 12:37 p.m. in the 900 block of 124th Lane N.E. a man reported that someone obtained his check card account information and made a fraudulent charge online.

• On Jan. 7 at 3:03 p.m. in the 2450 block of Cloud Drive N.E. it was reported that two checks had been forged.

• On Jan. 7 at 3:39 p.m. in the 1130 block of 116th Avenue N.E. a burglary of a residence was reported.

• On Jan. 8 at 7:48 a.m. in the 940 block of 97th Lane N.E. it was reported that someone entered a truck and stole a GPS and satellite radio.

• On Jan. 8 at 8:33 a.m. in the 9100 block of Isanti Street N.E. a vehicle was reported stolen.

• On Jan. 9 at 9:30 a.m. in the 3240 block of 95th Avenue N.E. a Bobcat was reported stolen.

• On Jan. 9 at 12:49 p.m. in the 3540 block of 91st Circle N.E. a burglary of a residence was reported.

• On Jan. 10 at 8:47 a.m. in the 2730 block of 91st Avenue N.E. it was reported that someone entered an unlocked vehicle and stole medication from a prescription bottle and a pack of 50 CDs that were in a case.

• On Jan. 10 at 11:50 a.m. in the 11700 block of Erskin Circle N.E. it was reported that someone took construction materials from a work site.

Miscellaneous

• On Jan. 4 at 11:29 p.m. at the intersection of Lexington and 109th avenues a driver was arrested for DWI.

• On Jan. 5 at 1:43 a.m. at the intersection of 109th Avenue and Quincy Boulevard a driver was arrested for DWI.

• On Jan. 5 at 1:55 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 65 and Highway 10 a driver was arrested for DWI.

• On Jan. 6 at 1:44 a.m. at the intersection of 99th Avenue and Polk Street a driver was arrested for DWI.

• On Jan. 6 at 1:53 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 65 and 85th Avenue a driver was arrested for DWI.

• On Jan. 7 at 11:07 p.m. at the intersection of 118th Avenue and Hastings Street a driver was arrested for DWI.

Criminal property damage

• On Jan. 4 at 7:31 a.m. in the 1730 block of 123rd Lane N.E. it was reported that somebody smashed out the passenger’s side window of a vehicle parked in a driveway. Nothing appeared to be taken.

• On Jan. 6 at 1:40 p.m. in the 9100 block of Baltimore Street N.E. it was reported that a driver’s side window was broken out.

• On Jan. 7 at 1:44 p.m. in the 12500 block of Madison Street N.E. it was reported that all four tires of a van were slashed.
