Blaine/Ham Lake Rotary new member night at the TPC

The Blaine/Ham Lake Rotary club is holding an event for new members at the TPC Twin Cities clubhouse in Blaine Wednesday, Feb. 13.

New member night begins at 7 p.m. with featured speaker Peter Vodenka, who with his family defected from behind the Iron Curtain of Communist Czechoslovakia.

“He does a great job of engaging the audience and provides a great reminder of just how lucky we are to be living in a free country,” said Blaine/Ham Lake Rotary President Aaron Swartz.

Also featured during new member night is a presentation describing the history and mission of Rotary and how new members can get involved.

Hors d’oeuvres, wine and beer will be provided during the event.

Those planning to attend new member night should RSVP by contacting Swartz by phone at 651-253-0376 or by email at Aaron.d.swartz@ampf.com.
