Blaine police reports week of Jan. 18-24

Theft, Burglary

•On Jan. 18 at 1:17 p.m. in the 12300 block of 4th Court N.E., a person called police to report ongoing problems of theft of mail.

•On Jan. 19 at 1:27 p.m. in the 1850 block of 105th Ave. N.E., someone smashed the right rear passenger window of a vehicle and took a purse.

•On Jan. 20 at 1:01 a.m. in the 1100 block of Paul Parkway N.E., someone entered an apartment through a sliding glass door and stole several items.

•On Jan. 22 at 1:12 p.m. in the 1060 block of 122nd Avenue N.E., a woman reported she found numerous suspecious withdrawls from her recently deceased sister’s bank account.

•On Jan. 22 at 6:53 p.m. in the 10300 block of Baltimore St. N.E., a loss prevention officer reported that two customers were caught on surveillance concealing two Polaroid tablet devices each while in a fitting room. When police stopped the suspects, they found a small amount of marijuana, a pipe and a small plastic baggy containing meth.

•On Jan. 23 at 9:04 a.m. in the 10000 block of Central Ave. N.E., a burglary of a residence was reported. Forced entry was made by breaking open the front door.

•On Jan. 23 at 2:38 p.m. in the 770 block of County Road 10 N.E., someone broke out the right front passenger window of a vehicle and took a canvas bag.

•On Jan. 23 at 8:41 p.m. in the 580 block of Northtown Drive N.E., a loss prevention officer reported that a woman stole $134.01 worth of baby formula.

•On Jan. 23 at 8:55 p.m. in the 300 block of Northtown Drive N.E., it was reported that two Playstation 3 gaming consoles were stolen.

•On Jan. 24 at 3:24 p.m. in the 11800 block of Aberdeen St. N.E., it was reported that someone sawed off and stole a catalytic converter two weeks ago.

•On Jan. 24 at 3:39 p.m. in the 800 block of Oak Ridge Point N.E., a woman reported that her wedding ring and band went missing from her room in her parents’ home about a month ago. Her brother admitted to taking the rings.

Miscellaneous

•On Jan. 18 at 8:02 p.m. in the 300 block of Northtown Drive N.E., a male caught shoplifting assaulted a loss prevention officer and fled with a female in a vehicle. Suspects located and citations issued.

•On Jan. 19 at 2:06 a.m. at the intersection of 6th Street N.E. and 109th Avenue N.E., a person was arrested for DWI.

•On Jan. 19 at 7:28 p.m. in the 300 block of Northtown Drive N.E., a shoplifting who assaulted a loss prevention officer was caught.

•On Jan. 19 at 8:38 p.m. at the intersection of Radisson Road N.E. and 109th Avenue N.E., a person was arrested for DWI and fleeing police in a motor vehicle.

•On Jan. 22 at 11:31 p.m. at the intersection of Van Buren Street N.E. and 117th Avenue N.E., a driver was arrested for DWI.

Criminal Property Damage

•On Jan. 19 at 8:27 a.m. in the 220 block of County Road 10 N.E., it was reported that someone damaged two electrical boxes located outside, which cut power to the lights in the parking lot and a business sign. Beer cans were located around the damaged area.

•On Jan. 19 at 10:58 a.m. in the 130 block of 113th Square N.E., it was reported that all four tires of a vehicle were slashed.
