Ramsey approves site plan for McDonald’s

Plans for Ramsey’s first McDonald’s restaurant are moving ahead.

At its Jan. 22 meeting, the Ramsey City Council unanimously approved a site plan and a code amendment to allow 24-hour service for the 4,600 square-foot restaurant on the southeast corner of Sunwood Drive and Armstrong Boulevard.

The restaurant will share a driveway with the recently approved SuperAmerica, which will be adjacent to it, said Development Services Manager Tim Gladhill.

The restaurant will have two ordering lanes and 51 parking stalls on the 1.6-acre property, he said.
