Snowflake Days wraps up with children’s carnival

A children’s carnival Saturday at Epiphany Catholic School, Coon Rapids, brought to an end the 49th annual Coon Rapids Snowflake Days celebration.

The 2013 event had begun Saturday, Jan. 26.

Sponsored by the Coon Rapids Snowflake Association and newly crowned 2013 Coon Rapids Junior Royalty families, the carnival featured games, crafts, prizes and concessions.

Games and activities included fish pond, lollipop tree, face painting, nail painting, ring toss, bowling pins, cake walk, duck pond and royal fun-do plus a craft table.

There was also a magic show in which Bob the Magician (Robert Halbrook) involved the children in an interactive show complete with Harry the dove and Snowball the rabbit.
