Hoffman balances at state gymnastics meet
Blaine junior Julia Hoffman finished 13th in the Class AA state balance beam with a score of 9.1 at the University of Minnesota Sports Pavilion Feb. 23.
Bengals coach Molly Platisha said the hard work during the week paid off. “She worked on perfecting the little things and on connecting her elements, particularily her front walkover-back handspring-sissone [leap].
