CODA will present the third concert in the Coon Rapids Arts Commission’s 2013 dessert and coffee concert series next week.
The duo will perform at the Coon Rapids Civic Center Thursday, March 14, 7 p.m.
CODA is a saxophone/keyboard duet comprising Scott Dorff on soprano, alto and tenor saxophones, and Malcolm Anderson on piano and keyboard.
A versatile group that performs in a diversity of venues, CODA has released five recordings and its music has touched the lives of thousands of people, according to its website.
Dorff and Anderson continue to compose and arrange music weekly.
The remaining concert in the 2013 series of four concerts is Thursday, April 11 when the Minneapolis Commodores will present barbershop harmony.
In addition to the music, the concert will feature an exhibit by a local artist.
A dessert and beverage will be served.
Admission, which includes the dessert and beverage, is $7 for adults and $5 for adults age 65 and over and children age 12 and under.
