Students from alternative programs and charter schools from across Minnesota attended the event.

The students from NWPHS spent time exploring the Capitol building and met with Rep. Mark Uglem and Sen. John Hoffman.

“It was fun because we got to meet the people who represent us and got to talk about our school,” NWPHS student Alyssa Shovein said.
