The Coon Rapids Lions Club’s 29th annual all-you-can-eat breakfast takes place Sunday, March 17, 8 a.m. to noon, at the Coon Rapids VFW, 1919 Coon Rapids Blvd.
The breakfast will include pancakes, French toast, eggs, sausage, hash browns, coffee, milk and orange juice.
Ticket prices are $7 for adults, $5 for seniors 62 and older or for children ages five to 12 and children less than five years old can eat for free.
Tickets are available at the door, can be purchased in advance from club members or can be purchased from several youth groups in the area.
Since 1985, the Lions have held two annual community breakfasts with the proceeds going to support the various community projects of the club, as well as to the youth groups participating in the event.
The Coon Rapids Lioness Club will conduct a craft and bake sale at the VFW during the breakfast with proceeds from the sales going to club projects.
Used eyeglasses and hearing aids will be collected to be recycled for use by people in need all over the world.
Non-perishable food items can also be dropped off at the breakfast with these items to be donated to the ACBC Food Shelf.
The club meets on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Coon Rapids VFW.
Lions clubs are a group of men and women who identify needs within the community and work together to help meet those needs.
