Annual Easter egg hunt planned in Nowthen

The Easter Bunny will make a stop at Nowthen Park in Nowthen Saturday, March 23.

The annual Nowthen Lions Club Easter egg hunt will take place at the park promptly at 9:30 a.m.

There will be separate hunts for ages zero to two, three through five and six through eight.

A special golden egg will be hidden in each age group. Bring a basket for the eggs.

In addition to the egg hunt, there is an opportunity for photos with the Easter Bunny.

The event takes place rain or shine. Nowthen Park is located at 19800 Nowthen Blvd. N.W.

Prior to the egg hunt, the Lions club will host a pancake breakfast fund-raiser from 8 to 11 a.m. at Nowthen Alliance Church, located at 19653 Nowthen Blvd.

A free will offering will be taken, with proceeds to benefit the annual Nowthen Heritage Festival.

Kids’ gift bags will also be given away and drawings will be held.

The Laestradian Church bake sale will be held at Nowthen City Hall from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
