The Blaine Parks and Recreation Spring Egg Hunt, sponsored by the Blaine Festival Committee, was held Saturday. It attracted more than 400 kids who trudged through the snow to find the 6,000 eggs that had been placed on three softball fields at Airport Park.

The eggs were filled with candy and some had gold coins, which the kids could redeem for a miniature stuffed bunny. After the egg hunt was a raffle for prizes and kids received a treat bag.
