Thelma Graves of Champlin, formerly Ramsey, passed March 15, her daughter and husband at her side.
She was born to Alice Savage Gammon & Johnny Gammon on Dec. 10, 1922; is survived by husband Louis, daughter Joyce Davis, sister Alice Thornburg, brother Sidney Gammon, step children Shaaron (John) Freeburg, Jim Graves and Cindy (Marc) Cutter; 10 grand kids, 15 gr. grandkids, 5 gr. great grands!
Married 49 yrs., Thelma & Louis built a thriving manufacturing business in Ramsey, MN, taking them on adventures worldwide. Thelma helped to create the Anoka Co. Humane Society in 1979. She loved her family, friends, animals, and life on the river; enjoying gardening, fishing, entertaining, playing with grandchildren, slots, scratch-cards & bingo and playing tennis. She gave freely, caring for all, and will be missed by many.
A celebration of Thelma’s life will be held on Saturday, April 13 at Greenhaven Golf Course, Anoka 2:30-5:00PM,
Memorial remembrances at 3:00. Donations preferred to Animal Ark Shelter or MN. Humane Society
