ARCC softball update

Anoka-Ramsey Community College softball is off to a bleak 1-8 start to the spring. The team has yet to play a game inside the MCAC Southern Division.

The Golden Rams have allowed a division-high 78 runs and scored the second fewest runs (minus Riverland which hasn’t played a game) – 31.

Individual leaders in the MCAC’s Southern Division include pitcher Sam Hanus, who is 1-2 with a 7.21 ERA, 16 strike outs and eight walks in 22 innings of work.

Golden Rams batters Becca Hass and Nicole Schaub sport .429 and .421 batting averages, respectively. Hass has two stolen bases and Ellie Heid had driven in five runs in 23 at-bats.
