Anoka alum returns to ‘A Prairie Home Companion’

Ellie Dehn, an Anoka High School alumnus, makes her fourth appearance on Garrison Keillor’s “A Prairie Home Companion” radio show.

The show will be broadcast this weekend from Town Hall near New York’s Times Square. The live broadcast will air tomorrow (Saturday, April 13), 5 to 7 p.m., on radio station KSJN (99.5 FM) and it will be rebroadcast Sunday, April 14, 11 a.m., on radio station KNOW (91.1 FM).

Dehn, who has appeared nationally, including singing in the Metropolitan Opera, and internationally, will perform and sing in skits written by Keillor. In her prior guest appearances on PHC, she has sung opera classics and Keillor’s original comic compositions.

Dehn resides in New York City. She recently appeared in Mozart’s “Don Giovanni” at Opera Colorado. An upcoming engagement takes her across the continent to appear in San Francisco’s “Così Fan Tutte,” also composed by Mozart.
