With the cupboards nearly bare, donations are desperately needed for the Anoka-Hennepin School District’s food shelf. Food can be dropped off at Pathways for homeless youth and families at 11238 Crooked Lake Blvd. in Coon Rapids.
Items most in need are:
Canned vegetables: peas, carrots, corn, potatoes; spaghetti sauce; vegetable soup; canned fruit: pears, mandarin oranges, peaches, apples, pineapple, fruit cocktail.
Peanut butter; jelly; macaroni and cheese; Hormel chili; beans; boxed cereal; oatmeal; granola bars; pop tarts; fruit snacks.
Crackers; prepared meals: Chef Boyardee, pasta sides, Hamburger Helper; baby food stages one, two and three; toddler snacks: snack cookies and wheels, cereals; laundry soaps; paper plates; and plastic spoons, knives and forks
