The Tuesday, May 7 clinic is 4 to 8 p.m. at the Blaine Police Department, 10801 Town Square Drive N.E. Call 763-785-6113 if you have more questions.

No appointments are necessary for people looking for a new helmet or wishing to check that their current helmet properly fits. New helmets cost $13 and are available for both kids and adults on a first come, first served basis. Only cash or checks will be accepted.

These annual bike helmet clinics are sponsored by Safe Kids Anoka County, which is a network of organizations working to prevent unintentional childhood injuries. Car seat inspections and safety camps are a couple of other events it puts on.
