The city of Ramsey has sold another piece of excess land.
The Ramsey City Council April 9 unanimously approved selling a 4.8-acre property at 14280 Azurite St. N.W. to MultiSource Manufacturing and Diamond Graphics for $410,000.
The property had been valued at $376,500, according to Pat Brama, assistant to the city administrator.
Ramsey has owned the land since 2001 and obtained it from the Waste Management Inc., he said.
The proceeds from the sale will be used for tax increment financing (TIF) projects, even through the TIF district from which the city originally took the money to purchase the land has since been decertified, according to Brama.
