Blaine zips through 12 public hearings

Blaine City Council had a mass of business and information to consider at its meeting Thursday, but in just minutes 12 public hearings were held by council.

The public hearings concerned the vacation of a road easement, renewing of liquor licenses, and reviewing and hearing various ordinances.

Council decided to postpone the request for the vacation of a road easement for Kunz Oil Company. The easement is located at 102nd Avenue and University Avenue. Kunz Oil would like to develop the property with a different street system.
