In a crime alert issued by the department today (Tuesday, May 28), police said the burglaries took place over two weekends.

Two suspects were caught on video surveillance burglarizing the high school.

They stole cash, candy, change, cameras and other personal items from the building.

According to the crime alert, both suspects were wearing all black clothes and white masks similar to those in the movie, “Scream.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Det. Brad Johnson, Coon Rapids Police, at 763-767-6560 or after hours at 763-427-1212.

Reward funds are provided by the Coon Rapids Crime Prevention Association, a nonprofit organization that accepts tax deductible donations to assist the police department in solving crimes in the community.
