Anoka County 4-H and the Anoka County master gardeners will offer a summer youth program, Birds of a Feather.
The program will take place on Mondays, June 10, 17, and 24 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Bunker Hills Activities Center, 550 Bunker Lake Blvd. N.W., Andover.
The three-day program is a hands-on opportunity for youth who have completed fourth-eighth grades to explore the world of birds.
Youth will learn how to identify and classify birds by sight and sound through regular bird surveys at the Bunker Hills Activities Center.
“Participants can expect to be out in nature each day, interact with different bird species, learn from expert master gardeners, play games and have fun,” said Megan Farka, 4-H program coordinator.
The cost is $15 per participant and registration is due by May 24.
