MetroNorth Chamber of Commerce will host its third annual Summer Food Fest Thursday, June 20, 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., at Aquatore Park, Blaine. Food samples will be available more than 20 local restaurants plus family-friendly entertainment, including music, clowns, face painting and inflatables.
“This is a wonderful way to spend a summer evening with one’s family,” Lori Higgins, chamber president.
“Sample food and enjoy the entertainment, all the while supporting three nonprofits and meeting your neighbors and community leaders.”
Last year over 600 people from families to community leaders enjoyed this event and another successful turnout is anticipated, according to Higgins.
There will be special car presentation by Free to Be to a local family and Toys for Joy will also be at the event, collecting toys for area kids in need.
Cash bar will be provided by The Tavern Grill.
Tickets can be purchased in advance for $25 or $35 at the event with children 12 and under getting in free with a paid adult. The price includes the food sampling and entertainment.
The food fest is sponsored by title sponsors Nationwide Insurance, Enthusiast and Financial One Credit Union as well as supporting sponsors Rasmussen College, Toys for Joy, Foodie and Mate Precision Tooling.
