The Draw summer event concert series in Ramsey kicks off June 20 and will continue each Thursday evening until Sept. 12.
Starting July 11, those attending the concert at The Draw park amphitheater, 7401 East Ramsey Parkway, in the COR will be able to pick up items from the Ramsey Farmers’ Market. The market runs from 3-7 p.m. Most concerts with the exception of Sept. 12 are 6:30-8 p.m.
The Roadhouse Blue Band will play a variety of classic country and rock band music at the June 20 concert and guests get free Killebrew root beer floats and samples of Killebrew root beer.
Dirt Road Prophets is performing June 27. This band specializes in country from the golden era and it will mix in top 40s country and rock songs.
On July 11, Stimulus Package will put an invigorating spin on classic rock and country hits.
To hear some popular songs from the 60s and 70s, stop by July 18 for the Bill and Tom Show two-man guitar and piano duo.
1st Things 1st is a tribute to fun, high energy songs of the 40s and 50s. This band performs July 25.
BOB FM Night as well as a Coborn’s customer appreciation dinner night is Aug. 1.
Taking the stage Aug. 8 is Splatter Sisters, which plays a style of sassy folk and jazz based vocals.
Popular Johnny Cash tunes will be played Aug. 15 by Church of Cash.
The next week, Elvis impersonator Todd Anderson will entertain.
A group of local teens from the Braven Music School will play classic rock songs under the band name The Audities and Time Well Spent.
A 13-member band, Dan Perry and Ice Cream, will perform rock, blues, R&B, pop, jazz and country music from the 60s and 70s Sept. 5.
On the last Thursday performance date, Sept. 12, BOB FM will do a live broadcast from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Those that shop at the farmers market will receive free food from the grill.
