Registration open for Blaine Night to Unite

Registration is now open for Blaine’s best Tuesday night in August.

Always the first Tuesday of every August, Night to Unite is an opportunity for neighbors to connect with each other and spend evening outside. It’s also a chance for police officers and firefighters to visit with registered block party participants.

Blaine residents can register free on the city website at

This means a block party will be on a list for a visit from a police officer or firefighter. McGruff the crime dog and Sparky the fire dog characters will also be out visiting block parties that night.

Once registered, coloring sheets, planning kit and block party ideas are free on the website. Local law enforcement will also be having its annual school supply drive.
