Chandler will discuss and sign her latest book – the third in the Shay O’Hanlon caper series, “Pickle in the Middle Murder” – at the publication party.

Thanks to her newest dog’s overactive nose, Shay finds a dead body with a pickle stuffed in his mouth. In a privy, no less – at the Renaissance Festival. Before Shay knows it, JT, her homicide detective girlfriend, is arrested for the murder. Shay and her quirky crew must scramble to find clues to free JT from the clink.

Chandler, who generously sprinkles humor throughout her stories, won the 2012 Ann Bannon Popular Choice Award from the Golden Crown Literary Society for “Bingo Barge Murder,” the first book in her series. In May, she won a 2013 Bronze Independent Publishers Book Award for the second book in her series, “Hide and Snake Murder,” and a Goldie Award for Best Mystery/Thriller from the Golden Crown Literary Society for the same book.

Barnes & Noble is located at 710 County Highway 10 NE in Blaine. For more information, visit Chandler’s website at www.jessiechandler.com.
