The children explored ladybugs, went on a scavenger hunt for bugs and learned about earthworms and composting in addition to planting seeds and picking up garbage at John Ward Park.

The goal was for the children to appreciate the earth and its creatures and to develop a desire to care for them.

Mt. Olive Early Childhood Center is accepting registrations for two- to five-year olds for the upcoming school year.
