Anoka American Legion presents flag at Anoka County Fair opening ceremony

Members of the Anoka American Legion Post 102 presented the national, post and unit colors at the opening ceremony of the Anoka County Fair July 23. The annual event was sponsored by the Anoka County Veterans Council.

Erv Lewandowski, Spring Lake Park Kraus Hartig VFW Post 6587 member, opened the ceremony leading the Pledge of Allegiance, along with Brooke Newman, Anoka Post 102 Junior Auxiliary member, who led the pledge in sign language.

Guest speaker was Anoka County Attorney Tony Palumbo.
