Paula Lynn Larson, 43, pleaded guilty to two felony charges of criminal vehicular homicide. She will be sentenced Oct. 10.

According to the criminal complaint, Larson around 7:30 p.m. Sept. 16, 2012 was heading west on Viking Boulevard near Rendova Street when the SUV she was driving collided with a motorcycle on which John Allen Jordan, 48, of St. Francis, and Big Lake resident Patricia Lyn Kalla, 46, were riding.

Jordan and Kalla were both killed.

Larson had a preliminary breathalyzer test reading of 0.195, telling police that she had been driving her friend’s vehicle and was coming from a bar, according to the complaint.

A subsequent blood test came back with a blood-alcohol level of 0.16, which is twice the legal limit.
