Mary T. Inc., Coon Rapids, has named Lauri (Ebel) Cutinella as its home health and hospice market development manager.
Cutinella will be responsible for building relationships in the community and enhancing awareness of the Mary T. Inc. home health and hospice programs.
Cutinella has a wide breadth of experience serving the community, she said.
For 10 years, she served as the crime prevention specialist with the city of Coon Rapids.
She is pleased to be back in the Coon Rapids area and serving the community, according to Cutinella.
Cutinella recently graduated with a master’s degree in organizational leadership from Bethel University. In addition, she holds a state of Minnesota social work license and recently completed an assignment as a hospice social worker at Mary T.
That experience enabled her to develop an understanding of hospice and the caring Mary T. hospice, Cutinella said.
“It was an amazing experience,” she said. “Working with the patients and their families was a heartfelt experience.
“The genuine care meshed with highly skilled individuals within the hospice team deeply touched me.”
Hospice has been available in the U.S. for more than 20 years; however, there is still a lack of understanding about the available services and that Medicare eligible patients can receive services free of charge, according to Cutinella.
