Earth Sports Expo

There was much to see and do at the Earth Sports Expo, held at the National Sports Center in Blaine last weekend.

There were several displays and hands-on activities that were available to the public. Among them were Midwest Mountaineering with a 30-foot climbing wall.

Another popular item took place on the pond outside the NSC, where people tried their hand at canoeing, water peddle bikes and other boating fare.

Then there was the Earth Awareness Portable Classroom, a 22-foot diameter model of the planet.
