Leslie Clemmons (Nee Piepgras), age 74, of Anoka, MN, died peacefully on September 5 of pancreatic cancer while surrounded by her loving family.
Leslie is survived by her daughter, Janet Ridling (John) and grandson, Brandon Spencer; daughter, Beth Clemmons; sister, Janet Gatzmer (Marv) and nephews, Dean and Dave Gatzmer and their families; sister Marsha Stowe (John) and nieces and nephews, Kyle, Ellen, Brian, Kevin, Casey, and Bridget; sister-in-law, Joan Rupp and nieces and nephew, Diane, David, Debra, Jane and their families; and stepmother, Evelyn Piepgras.
Preceded in death by parents, Walter and Anne Piepgras.
Leslie graduated from West High School in 1956. She retired in 2000 from the Anoka-Hennepin School District where she served for 30 years. She was an active member of the Anoka Community Anti-Crime Commission (President); Kiwanis (Past President); Youth First; P.E.O., Chapter Z; and Philolectian. Leslie was a long-time member of the United Methodist Church of Anoka. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, and travel.

Celebration of Life at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14 at United Methodist Church of Anoka, 850 South St., Anoka with visitation 1 hour prior. Private family interment in Pipestone, MN. Memorials preferred to the Anoka Community Anti-Crime Commission, Kiwanis, or the church.
