It was a customer appreciation day, an event that Coon Rapids Service Center has had annually since its 30th anniversary to thank its customers for their business, according to Steve Szaflarski, who owns the business with his father Chuck Szaflarski.

Steve Szaflarski has also been a firefighter with the Coon Rapids Fire Department for 10 years.

The event featured food, a bouncy house and craft table for kids, neck massages given by Danielle Holten of Essentially Massage, and skin care tips from Elaine Johnson, an independent consultant with Rodan+Fields Dematologists.

Besides the Szaflarskis, the Coon Rapids Service Center staff includes Joe Bentfield as service manager, and Ben Fletcher and Greg Tyson as senior automotive technicians.

The Coon Rapids Service Center is located at 2600 Coon Rapids Blvd.
