Lake Country Chorus seeks to expand the sisterhood of singers

All over the globe, Sweet Adelines International choruses are joining together to teach the world to sing, and Lake Country Chorus is a group of real women, singing real music and having real fun.

Lake Country Chorus is a chapter of Sweet Adelines International, an organization of nearly 25,000 women worldwide who sing four-part a cappella harmony, barbershop style.

Women of all ages who enjoy singing are invited to learn more about Lake Country Chorus and join the sisterhood of singers.

Just stop by Lake Country’s open house, 7:30-8:30 p.m. Sept. 24 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 3770 Bellaire Ave., White Bear Lake.

Any woman of average singing ability, with or without vocal training, will find a part that fits her voice range with the help of the chorus’ musical leaders and director.

Lake Country Chorus performs regularly throughout the community, offering its talent for entertainment at civic events and charitable functions, and recently participated in the Christ the Servant Lutheran Church service at Vadnais Heights Heritage Days.
