Legion members set up shop at fair

Anoka American Legion Post 102 members joined with other American Legion District 10 members to work at the Minnesota American Legion Department veterans booth at the Minnesota State Fair Sept. 1.

The volunteers promoted the American Legion and membership.

Seventeen District 10 members were at the booth letting the public know the American Legion takes care of veterans, serves communities, supports the Legionville school safety patrol camp, Boys and Girls State, oratorical, helps raise money for the children of veterans.
