A series of arson fires in Andover early this morning (Tuesday, Oct. 8) are under investigation by the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office.
Approximately 1:17 a.m., a fire was reported in a flat bed truck next to a home under construction near the 1100 block of 152nd Lane in Andover.
Anoka County Sheriff’s Office deputies and the Andover Fire Department responded to the call and were able to put out the fire.
At 3:11 a.m., three other suspicious fires damaged nearby occupied homes, although nobody was hurt in the fires which occurred in the area of the 1100 block of 157th Lane NW in Andover, according to the sheriff’s office.
All of the fires appear to be intentionally set and remain under investigation, the sheriff’s office states.
The sheriff’s office is asking for the public’s help in investigating these incidents.
