Youth First offers Taste of Community

Youth First Community of Promise hosted its 11th annual Taste of Community the evening of Nov. 7.

The fundraising event took place at Green Haven Golf and Banquet Center and included samples from local ethnic and American restaurants, cafes, coffee houses and dessert shops. Those attending the Taste of Community could pair the cuisine with new wines or old favorites.

Silent auction items and raffle ticket prizes were also part of the event’s activities and music was performed by the Lynn Deichert Trio.

All proceeds from the Taste of Community will help fund Youth First programming, designed to build strong youth and families in Andover, Anoka and Ramsey.

Donations are still being accepted. Visit www.Youth1st.net or call 763-421-8560 for more information.
