Early college signees put pen to paper

High school seniors official put pen to paper during the NCAA’s early signing period Nov. 13.

Several area prep standouts made their future plans be known for most sports. Football signees will announce decisions on Feb. 5.

Anoka
Basketball: Claire Lundberg (Seton Hall), Amber Bray, Ashley Bray (Weselyan) and Kyrah Fredenburg (Concordia University, St. Paul) and Jordan Meyer (North Dakota).
Swimming: Cole Birklid (North Dakota).
Hockey: Amanda Kimmerle (RPI) and Blair Parent (Providence).
Gymnastics: Amber Heltemes (Southern Utah).
Softball: Dayja Rosario (Bemidji State).

Blaine
Volleyball: Lydia Dimke (Purdue), Jessica Jorgenson (North Dakota State University) and Brooke Christensen (Augustana).
Hockey: Kiersten Falck (Princeton), Amy Schlagel (New Hampshire), Katie Swanstrom (Brown), Sam Swanstrom (Brown).
Swimming: Erin Sullivan (Minnesota State, Moorhead).

Coon Rapids
Baseball: Alex Boxwell (Minnesota)

St. Francis
Basketball: Jake Johnson (Northern State).
