Anoka’s own Benjamin Raye displays diverse musicality and song writing style as he performs everything from hip-hop and rhythm and blues to country rock and gospel.
Talented and versatile, the multi-instrumental Raye has been playing music since he was a little boy – and he’s been performing ever since.
Most recently Raye hit the stage for lunchtime shows Nov. 19 at Potbelly in Blaine and Nov. 16 at Potbelly in Coon Rapids.
Next up, he will perform live at McCoy’s (651 Main Street, Elk River) 9 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Nov. 27.
It’s sort of a Thanksgiving Eve thanksgiving offering of “smashing music brought to you by a dynamic artist,” as described by his promoter, Tate Music Group.
Raye also frequently entertains on the radio dial at 105.5 in St. Cloud and 106.1 in Minneapolis.
All that play results in recordings as the award-winning artist combines an eclectic mix of music, giving every music fan a captivating sound to enjoy.
Raye recently recorded a 10-track CD “Come And Get It,” now available at his live shows or at www.BenjaminRaye.com.
