Celebrating Christmas with song and dance, laughter and levity, Betty Rydell & Friends present a Christmas variety show 3 p.m. Dec. 8 at the Medina Entertainment Center.
Rydell – a resident of Coon Rapids and Rio Grande Valley entertainer and singer of the year – headlines the show along with radio, television and recording artist Randi Rae.
The Fabulous Delcounts – the longest-running band in the Twin Cities – also take the stage and features the musical talents of Charles Schoen, Bob Jones, James Walsh, Bill Davis and Jerry Archamboult.
Special guests performing during the event include Patrick Villella (winner of the 2012 WeFest talent contest), 13-year-old Julius Andrews IV, a Coon Rapids resident who has appeared on stage with the Guthrie Theater performance of “A Christmas Carol”, and nine-year-old singing sensation Elise Seburg.
Advanced tickets to the show are $20 for adults; children 14 and younger are free. Call 763-478-6661 to get advanced tickets.
