Ramsey man faces additional sexual misconduct charges

The Anoka County Attorney’s Office late Thursday afternoon, Jan. 9 filed three additional felony charges against a Ramsey man accused of having sex with five boys and soliciting another for sex by setting up a false Facebook account.

Chad Michael Geyen, 44, is now facing five counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct and one count of solicitation of a child to engage in sexual conduct.

Geyen was first arraigned in court Nov. 27, 2012 and is scheduled to make his next appearance Jan. 23, according to court records.

All three of the boys listed by initial and date of birth only in the first complaint were allegedly sexually assaulted on multiple occasions when they were 13 years old or younger at the time.

Geyen holds a private pilot’s license and has been part of a youth service organization called the Young Eagles Program out of the Anoka County-Blaine Airport that seeks to get young people interested in aviation, the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office reported in a press release when the first charges were filed in November.

One of the newest reported victims, who is now 20 years old, told authorities that he met Geyen at the age of four and was allegedly sexually abused for about the next 10 years. His brother, now 23 years old, accused Geyen of sexually abusing him when he was seven or eight years old and to the time he was 13 years old.

Both of the newest reported victims alleged that they performed oral sex on Geyen and that he sexually touched them while they were flying with him in his airplane.

According to the complaint, the older brother recalled an incident at Geyen’s home when Geyen paid him $20 for oral sex.

Geyen also allegedly took pictures of him both clothed and unclothed, but would compensate him more for unclothed pictures.

The forensic investigation of Geyen’s computers and other devices is ongoing, according to the complaint.

Authorities have allegedly discovered that Geyen regularly visits a website that describes itself as “an introduction to boylove.”

The investigation has also allegedly revealed that Geyen set up a Facebook account posing as a 13-year-old girl and engaged six teenage boys in Internet conversations, including one with sexual connotations.
