League of Women Voters to present program on protecting pollinators

Local beekeeper, Jim Meyers, will be presenting a program of agricultural importance at the League of Women Voters ABC (Anoka, Blaine, Coon Rapids area) meeting on Monday evening, March 10 at Andover City Hall’s Senior Center. The community is invited to hear Meyers’ beekeeping experiences and participate in a discussion of what individuals can do to enhance and protect populations of pollinators.

All are invited for social time and refreshments at 6 p.m., followed by the program and discussion at 6:30 p.m. Andover City Hall’s Senior Center is located at 1685 Crosstown Boulevard NW. Enter the city hall parking lot from Crosstown, and proceed to the end of the parking lot.

League of Women Voters is a non-partisan political organization that encourages informed and active participation in government and influences public policy through education and advocacy. The local League of Women Voters ABC is comprised of women and men from several north and northwest metro communities.
