ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
MONROE STREET STORM SEWER GROUTING PROJECT

Notice is hereby given that sealed Bids will be received by the City of Spring Lake Park until 1:30 P.M., CDT, Monday, March 31, 2014, at the Spring Lake Park City Hall, 1301 81st Ave NE, Spring Lake Park, MN 55432, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud, for the furnishing of all labor and material for constructing the above stated Project.
The Project involves sealing joints in reinforced concrete storm sewer pipe. Approximate quantities include the joints of: 325 LF of 15 RCP, 700 LF of 18 RCP, 650 LF of 21 RCP, 1,350 LF of 24 RCP, 450 LF of 27 RCP and 700 LF of 36 RCP.
Bidders shall only submit forms provided for that purpose in accordance with the Bidding requirements prepared by Citys engineering consultant, Stantec, and dated March 2014. Paper Bidding Documents can also be viewed during normal business hours at Spring Lake Park City Hall or Stantec, 2335 Highway 36 West, St. Paul, MN 55113, (651) 636-4600.

Submitted Bids shall be directed to the Public Works Director and enclosed in a sealed envelope and marked on the outside with BID ENCLOSED FOR MONROE STREET STORM SEWER GROUTING PROJECT, SPRING LAKE PARK, MINNESOTA. The Bidders name and address should also be included on the envelope. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to the City of Spring Lake Park in an amount of 5 percent of Bidders Total Bid Price and in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or bank check.
The City reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any irregularity or informality in a Bid, and to award the Contract in the best interests of the City.
