Brodzinski currently leads the fourth-ranked Huskies with 20 goals and 39 points this season.  He also has eight power play goals and two game winning goals to his credit along with one hat trick, which he scored on March 7 at Colorado College.  In his two seasons with the Huskies, Brodzinski has 42 goals, 30 assists and 72 points.

Brodzinski played a key role in helping SCSU win its second consecutive regular season league championship in 2013-14.  The Huskies clinched the league title with a weekend sweep at Colorado College on March 7-8.  SCSU completed the regular season with a 21-8-5 overall record and a 15-6-3-0 record in the always rugged NCHC.

SCSU will open play as the top seed in the NCHC playoffs on March 14-16 against Miami University at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center in St. Cloud, Minn.
