The concert features adult and youth choirs, live orchestral music and drama and will be performed 7 p.m. Friday, April 11 at Church of the Epiphany (11001 Hanson Blvd., Coon Rapids) and 4 p.m. Sunday, April 13 at Church of St. Timothy (707-89th Ave. NE, Blaine).

The performers – about 120 adult singers, 50 youth singers, an orchestra of about 25, and a drama group of about 15 – draw from Epiphany and St. Timothy’s churches and other area churches.

This year, “His Amazing Love” is being performed by many more singers than in past years, some coming from churches more than 30 minutes away.

Epiphany’s associate director of music Elizabeth Grefsheim directs “His Amazing Love,” with arrangements by Grefsheim and Therese Jorgensen, director of music at St. Timothy’s. The script is by Bill Steffl, St. Timothy’s director of liturgy.

“Each year we hope that people will go away being more prepared to enter into holy week. To feel the love of Jesus Christ and feel the depth of his love that he gave us through our story of the passion and death of Jesus,” Grefsheim said.

The concert is free, but a freewill offering will be taken. For more information, call Epiphany at 763-755-1020.
