Veterans honored at Anoka’s Forest Hills

The community gathered at Forest Hills Cemetery in Anoka Monday for the annual Memorial Day service.

It was a chance to reflect and pay tribute to all those in the military who have sacrificed their lives

The service included an address by Brig. Gen. Neal Leidolt, 34th Red Bull Division Commander of the Minnesota National Guard.

The observance also included music from the North Suburban Concert Band, student participation and memorials to veterans.
