Class of 2014 graduates from PACT Charter School

May 23 saw 46 students graduate from PACT Charter School in Ramsey.

The graduation ceremony was a celebration of the students’ accomplishments and the many memories they shared as students at PACT.

Nine of the graduates have attended PACT together since kindergarten.

Graduation was also a time to say goodbye to 25 families who will no longer have a student in the school. The families were thanked for their volunteer service throughout the years.

The 2014 valedictorian was Carissa Nelson, and the salutatorian was Josie Burton. Both gave speeches on the memories that their class made together and the promise of a great future. Danny Mooers gave a speech recounting his experiences and the positive impact of the teachers and parents at PACT.

Seniors Lauren Owens & Megan Swadner sang “I’ll See You When I See You,” written by Neil Thrasher and Tony Martin.

After the ceremony, the graduates celebrated along with their friends and families, enjoying a reception of cake, punch and coffee provided by the junior class.
