Concerts in the Park

The city of Anoka presents free weekly musical entertainment with its annual Concerts in the Park beginning Sunday, June 8. All concerts begin at 7 p.m. and are held in George Green Park at the Bicentennial Band Shell (located in the southwest corner of the park; adjacent to the Anoka Aquatic Center). This summer’s performance schedule includes Cattail Moon (June 8), North Suburban Concert Band (June 15), Jessie Smelter (June 22), Lee Engele and Friends (June 29), Amy and Adams (July 6), Redneck Hippies (at Riverfront Park July 13), The Biscuit Boy Band (July 20), Betty Rydel (July 27), Phil Kitze & the Resonators (Aug. 3), Lake Country Chorus (Aug. 10), BlueStratum (Aug. 17), and Legendary Percolators Live Band (Aug. 24).
