Diana White

Diana Ezilda White, age 94, of Anoka, Minn., passed away on Monday, June 9, 2014.
She was born on Aug. 20, 1919, in Walhalla, N.D., the daughter of Fred and Julliette Verville.
She married Ernest James White on January 26, 1939, in Walhalla. She worked for Anoka Electric.
Diana loved to travel, read, listen to books on tape and was an avid quilter. She also enjoyed sailing, water, sunshine and was a Minnesota Twins fan.
Dianas greatest love was her family and spending time with them. She volunteered at Mercy Hospital for many years. She was a parishioner at St. Stephens Catholic Church in Anoka. For 20 years before her move to California. Diana joined the parish of St. Edwards Catholic Church in Dana Point, California as a parishioner in 1987. She was a true patriotic member of the American Legion Post No. 102.
Diana is survived by her children, Darryl (Mary) White of Eagle, Idaho, Marilyn Fusske of Lenoir, N.C., Juliette (Phil) Dahlgren of Dana Point, Calif., Debra White of Madison, Wis. and Dawn (Bernard) Reimer of Canyon Lake, Calif.; 16 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and siblings, Leo Verville, Alma Liecheske, Leona HoVenden, Pete (Roberta) Verville, Ella (Dick) Corbit, Jean Corbit, Ida Mae Campbell, Donna Clarmont, Margie Johnson, Deloria Longton, Wayne Verville and Gary (Patricia) Verville and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ernest; grandson, Thomas Ryan and sister, Yvonne Lee.
A Funeral Mass held on Monday, June 16, 2014, at 10 a.m. at St. Stephens Catholic Church, Anoka, Minn. Burial will be held at Calvary Cemetery, Anoka, Minn.
