The Draw stages summer music series

Thursday nights all summer long, The Draw amphitheater stages free events for music lovers and families looking for some sweet summertime fun.

Presented by the City of Ramsey Foundation, all Ramsey Summer Music Series events but one (the season finale) begin at 6:30 p.m. and end at 8 p.m. Food and drinks will be available for purchase before and during the events.

While you’re at The Draw (7401 E. Ramsey Parkway, Ramsey), be sure to check out the farmers market set up adjacent to the amphitheater 3-7 p.m. every Thursday beginning July 17.

June 19: BOB FM
and Coborn’s

BOB FM will host this special evening with the Shane Martin Band and many free giveaways. This is also COBORN’s customer appreciation dinner night.

June 26: High Brow
and the Shades

High Brow and the Shades is sure to be a memorable experience. They’re a variety band whose playlist contains hits from the last five decades.

July 10: The Killer

The Killer Hayseeds have been one of the top-drawing country bands in the Midwest for more than 20 years. They’re a high energy spectacle that plays the top current and most requested country hits.

July 17: $timulu$

No genre is off limits for $timulu$ Package, putting an invigorating spin on all the hits from classic rock to rocking country and everything in between.

July 24: Two Hicks
and a Chick

Two Hicks and a Chick combine powerful pipes and professional pickin’ with a three part honky-tonk harmony. They’re a fun-lovin’ acoustic trio dishing out all your favorite country tunes.

July 31: Elvis,
(Todd Anderson)

Elvis is a delightfully entertaining show for all ages. Anderson’s voice and moves are an exciting depiction of an actual Elvis concert.

Aug. 7: Rubber Soul

Rubber Soul is one of the premier Beatles tributes in the country. They feature the entire gamut, covering the early Beatles – British Invasion, the psychedelic era of Sgt. Pepper – and later Beatles, covering the “White Album” release through “Abbey Road.”

Aug. 14: Church of Cash

The Church of Cash is the Midwest’s best Johnny Cash Tribute show, performing a multitude of hits spanning Johnny’s entire career.

Aug. 21: The Castaways

The Castaways are a nationally-known Minnesota rock ’n roll band that audience have been demanding and enjoying for many years.

Aug. 28, 5:30-7 p.m.: Park Patron Picnic and Shirts and Skins

Community picnic with a live broadcast from BOB FM and a performance by Shirts and Skins. Shop at the Farmers Market and you will receive free food from the grill.
