Amber Reiners, 23, faces a DWI charge in Anoka County District Court. Police responded Thursday, June 12 to That Other Thrift Store, 4155 Coon Rapids Blvd., where they found Reiners’ BMW 10 feet inside of the building.

According to Capt. John Hattstrom of the Coon Rapids Police Department, Reiners was driving westbound on Coon Rapids Boulevard when the car jumped the curb and crashed into the thrift store at 11:45 p.m.

The crash happened after hours when the store was empty, so no employees or customers were injured in the crash that caused major damage to the storefront and its merchandise.

A preliminary breath test showed Reiners had a blood alcohol content level of 0.23, according to police. She was not injured in the crash.
