LWV to continue conversation on human trafficking

The ABC chapter of the League of Women Voters will host “Human Trafficking: A Community Conversation at 6:30 p.m. Monday, July 14 at the Andover Senior Center.

Human Trafficking is a serious concern in the community. We have heard and read about the problem but now what? What can an individual organization do? What can any one person do? How do we respond? Join the conversation with Anoka County Sheriff James Stuart and Anoka County Violence Prevention Coordinator Donna McDonald. Come and consider what we can do to be part of the solution.

All are invited for social time and refreshments at 6 p.m., followed by the program and discussion at 6:30 pm.  Andover City Hall’s Senior Center is located at 1685 Crosstown Boulevard NW. Enter the city hall parking lot from Crosstown, and proceed to the end of the parking lot.  League of Women Voters is a non-partisan political organization that encourages informed and active participation in government and influences public policy through education and advocacy.
